So, what does one do with oneself for days set aside for art practise? Well, take it a step further and think... what does one do for months and months during a global pandemic. As far as the Covid situation, we have watched it ebb and flow through waves of exposures. We have been lucky so far although now, in early December, we are able to say that we know people that have died or who have gotten Covid... it isn't some far of THING that happens to someone else anymore.
We haven't been without entertainment though as the political arenas have given lots of stories, scandals and daily "must see" dribble to follow, north and south of the 49th parallel!
As for art... my focus away from all the sublime worldly exposures... it has given me the opportunity to practise under a few different courses but different abstract artists. I'm trilled with the amount of pieces of art that have presented themselves during the last few months. Many of the interesting pieces of paper practises have been mounted onto panel and although I may rework some of these... I will present them here to show the growth and direction my art is taking me. Enjoy!
